As it happens from time to time, we often need a gentle nudge into a new adventure. Sometimes we nudge someone else and they nudge back. That’s actually how I ended up with my first venture into self-publishing. It’s a short story, shorter than I prefer and shortened from my originally thought perfect length, but it was for a good cause.

Over at they are hosting a short story contest. The rules; under 600 hundred words, published on their site. I convinced Cyndi of CPatLarge to enter and then had to follow. It was my idea and she went running with it. The hoped for prize? $500.00 and a B & N nook. Not bad prizes.

So go, take a gander at what your’s truly has produced (Dream Rider) and if you like it, please leave a comment, here, there, it’s all good.
